Indianapolis is an almost great place to live

Central Indiana is not the best place on the planet to live, but it’s pretty good in almost all respects.  There is not one thing that makes it stand out, the fact is that everything is pretty good.  For example:

One of the lowest costs of living in the country.

Easy to get almost anywhere.  Many major highways go thru town.  I-65 will easily take you to Chicago or Louisville.  I-70 will take you to NYC or St. Louis. I-74 will take you to Cincinnati or Champaign, IL.  I-69 will take you up to Michigan.  We have a brand new airport that’s small enough to be easy to deal with yet, has non-stop flights to NYC, Las Vegas, Cancun, Pheonix, Denver, Los Angeles, and Miami, just to name afew.

The Colts are consistently one of the best teams in football.

Few natural disasters.  No hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes.

No danger of running out of water.  We’re right on Lake Michigan.

Indiana is not in danger of going bankrupt.

Not too hot, not too cold.

I’ll continue to make central Indiana my home base, even though I love the mountains and love the ocean.  It’s easy to live here and visit there whenever I want.
