I enjoy learning from my 4-year-0ld as much as I enjoy teaching him.  This morning he said, “Daddy, do we have a lot of money?”  I said, “Sure, we are in good shape.” Confidently allaying any fears he might have about our financial position.   He then responded, “Good, then you can stay home from work and play!”  It took me a moment to process what he had just done.  His eyes showed that he knew I had fallen right into a trap that I didn’t even know he had the ability to set.

As I type this he is on my wife’s laptop, tapping the keys in the same way that I am tapping out this post.  He wants so much to be like me, and I want even more to be like him.
